The Charges
Parti Liyani was accused of theft by four members of the Liew family: Liew Mun Leong, Karl Liew (Liew Mun Leong's son), Heather Liew (Karl's wife) and May Liew (Liew Mun Leong's daughter). The victims accused Parti of the theft of approximately 144 items worth approximately $50,856. The four charges are detailed below.

The Original Second Charge
The second charge involved Karl Liew, who accused Parti of stealing items worth a total of $46, 856.

The Amended Second Charge
(Former) District Judge Olivia Low amended the second charge on 20 March 2019. In her Grounds of Decision, paragraph 26, DJ Low wrote that she found “there was reasonable doubt whether all 120 items of clothing belonged to or was in Karl’s possession”. She removed four items of clothing, and also removed a quilt cover. DJ Low also removed the two black wallets that Karl had claimed were his. In her decision, DJ stated, in paragraph 29, that “there is some doubt raised whether these two wallets belonged to Karl”.
The Third Charge
The third charge involved May Liew, who is the daughter of Liew Mun Leong.
The "Vacheron Constantin" watch of "unknown value" was a counterfeit watch; so was the "Swatch" watch.
